sounds like this has a purpose to it lockie, so I will respond foreal.
No snowboarding judges. (sorry krush and burtner you can go pre-jibulate all over each other in private) It should have some rider judged portion. Maybe not 100% because kids are dumbasses, but have atleast a portion of the total score be devoted to rider judgement. This way kids might bitch less, and the person who deserves to win will win.
Also, no boxes. If its a "rail jam" then have rails. Kids win at stevens rail jams by doing surface spins on boxes because they wont hit the rails. So proper skiing-oriented features with room for technical skiing. Not fake box tricks.
Have different categories. One size fits all just doesnt work, especially when some 11 year old takes the cake for doing some stupid switchup but because he is so young he gets a handicap. Also having heats, and not just having 100 kids dropping at once would be nice.
Have cash prizes.
Get real bibs that fit over peoples outerwear. Taping a piece of paper to your leg doesnt work.
and a megaphone to yell at people who stand in the landings/hype themselves every drop in/fake afterbang/etc.
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. If you are actually planning something Lockie, lemme konw and I will talk to the guys at Line and try to get soem support goin...
