If we're goin' for very recent, check out The Hurt Locker. It was pretty good. Nothin' amazing, but it was good.

While Avatar was beautiful and certainly impressive in it's own right, I was really disappointed in the plot. 

"The Hurt Locker" was super good
"Fantastic Mr. Fox" is hands down the best movie I've seen in the last year.

It's not that recent but Death Sentence was on TV the other night and I thought it was pretty good. Twisted, but worth 30 minutes of commercials

oh, fuck avatar if you arent seeing it in the theatre in 3d at least.

but also, the invention of lying is a super funny concept, first half is hilarious...it gets a bit serious for a while....but totally worth it.

but whatever you do....DONT WATCH THE MOVIE BROTHERS. unless you really feel like having something depressing to watch before you commit suicide. that movie was fucking heinously depressing.

I just saw Surrogate, good movie, not a waste of time. But it is like every other Bruce Willis movie.

Gamer was also pretty good, a little weird tho.

I really want to see law abiding citizen that comes out on dvd this week.

nah...not fuck off. if they dont make a sequel to that movie it is junk.

they made a good START to a story. thats it.

and word to stewart...use torrents and you can get anything. i watched a blueray cop of avatar last week....shits easy.
