I'm pretty sure i just explained that in the post you quoted but ill say it again.
The only time i have had a chance to wear my booster straps was at a rail jam wear i don't tighten like i normally would if i was really skiing. When i actually go skiing i will tighten them that way there doing what there suppose to be doing. The whole point of this thread was to see how people prefer to wear them. I have some friends that wear them over the shell and some say under.
