oh well i didn't know that, but i have never looked in depth at chetlers because i knew i could never, realistically, get them with a resonalbe budget. i paid $400 for my Comi's with solly 916's, i couldn't be happier for what i got.
But anyway, back on topic, being that chetlers have the same construction, they are still around 10mm (on average) wider than the JJ, but then more bitchin about weight, but still anything you can save you would.
And how you do you know the tour 12's will suck?
Are they not built on the same platform as the Duke? Which has proven itself time and time again, and i just wanted a touring binding for my Districts, something that would be light, but strong at them same time. I originally wanted a Duke, but those almost as much as one of the skis do, but i dont have the cash to go dynafit, (still considering it though) so that has basically left me with the freerides, i've just heard there not that good of an alpine binding, like they flex alot, is that true? but then again, i doubt ill be using these much as alpine, still curious to know.
Thanks again.
no i have not toured on anything, i am a total noob, i have no experience with any touring gear.
I when i meant by flex, i meant the binding it self, like twisting and torguing, thats atleast what i herd, please correct me.
i am the same way, i dont need a super binging, so ill guess i go with what i had planned to get before hand, the freerides, because i just figured out that even saving up for a dynafit setup would be around $1100, and i have so many other things i could with that, so yeah
thanks for your opinon, even though you seem a bias'd against marker and david steele for some reason.
