my rich uncle took me to deer valley a couple years back for 2 days of shreddage whilst in utah. It is incredible, theres mexicans who carry your skis to the gondola for you. Thats not the best part though. It's all rich old men who don't know how to shred anything gnarly, so all the good shit was left untracked for days, I literally shredded a run the first day after a storm and went back two days later and my tracks were still the only ones in that area. so dope. the terrain isn't amazing though if you compare it too the cottonwoods.
i work at deervalley (actually im typing this from my office at the lodge i work at), and its true, there is pow to be found here up to a week after a storm. it doesnt take much to deter people from gettin to the good stuff, so it makes it easy. but they deffinitly dont get as much snow as the cottonwoods and you dont have as much vertical or gnar terrain, but its still really fun if you know where to go, and hey, skiing is skiing so its dope anyway.
