Help...Salomon BOots

I have last year's SPKs and the string that you tighten the liner with on the inside has broken on both of the boots. does anyone know a way to get a new one of these? I have tried a couple local dealers and they dont have any. has anyone else had this problem?

mine broke last year.  I was told that a shop could order the part, but I never ended up dealing with it.  I have just been using them without the string

You really don't need the string, but if you want to get it ordered your local Salomon CAN order it for you.  It's a boot part, just like any other and Salomon should have them in stock as they are on a few alpine boots and just about every snowboard boot they make.

I'd feel weird skiing without them. One of the booster straps also fell off, and I'm dreading losing it, because the difference it makes is huge

yeah one of mine is missing too.

it doesnt really bother me but you could try lacing it up with snowboard boot laces i know somebody that does that im pretty sure

No other ski boots have this feature so you don't really need it.
