Replying to Guide to watch espn360 (xgames replay) if your internet provider doesnt let you

1. Install Move player from here (if you already haven't) - http://www.movenetworks.com/install-move-player

note. it didint work for me on win7 x64, so i had to run my old vista x32

2. Go to your Internet browser and change the LAN settings. I'm using IE, so I can say how to change LAN in this one. Open IE. Go to Tools=>Internet Options=> Connections=>LAN settings=> Proxy server. Tick the box under Proxy server and put your IP as 169.229.50.4 or 169.229.50.5 (or any other IPs you can find under the .edu suffix in this webpage: http://fall.cs.princeton.edu/codeen/) and your Port as 3124 or 3127 or 3128. Click OK=>OK. (These two proxies I mentioned are very unlikely NOT to work. And, anyway, actually, all the IPs-not-working thing we talked about before was mostly because of the ISP message that appeared once we clicked on the 'Watch Now' link in the www.espn360.com. And this is the problem that I solved in the next step).

3. Restart Internet Explorer.

4. Go to ESPN360.com, click on the link that says “Watch Now”.
A new window will open up.

5.Once Player loads go back to the other window of Internet Explorer.
Go to Tools-> Internet Options->Connections Tab->LAN Settings and UNCHECK the box “Use a Proxy Server for your LAN”.
Click OK, then Click OK again to get back to Internet Explorer.
Note: You can’t turn this off until after you Launch Video Player because it won’t work otherwise.

6. Switch back to the ESPN 360 window and it should play using YOUR internet connection and not the one through the proxy.
You are no longer using a proxy server, so the video will stream full speed.

7. Don’t close the ESPN360 window or you will have to turn on the proxy again to get back in.
I usually click it full screen and when commercials come on it will bounce from full to not quite full screen but once the commercial is over it will go back full screen.
Also worth mentioning is the commercials will sometimes appear to be hung, but they are not. Don’t panic. When the time allotted for the commercial is up, the game will resume just fine.
Note: I have noticed that at times it won’t take the same proxy twice in a row, if that is the case you will need to find another one from the list in step 1.
