Doesn't everyone draw on desks in school when your twelve? Why did the school call the police over something like this? Also why would they cuff/arrest her even though she obviously is not threat at all? It seems like this story is a joke but I don't think it is.

"I definitely learned not to ever draw on a desk," said Alexa. "They told me with a pencil this could still happen."

Seems like the arrest of a student would have to be carried out through the teacher, principal, school security, administration, and police officers. It amazes me that so many people could have such heinous sense of judgment. Guess that's why it's making the news.

Lol I draw on desks all the time with pen and I'm in college. If they tried to arrest me for that I'd end up with resisting arrest for sure.

my dad threw his desk out the window of the classroom when the teach was gone for a min. i wonder what he would have been charged with, attempted murder? probably. fuck the school system. least the police realized it was fucked up despited their legal obligation.
