Wow this would absoultley be devestating to America if this happened. Read the article, it sounds pretty serious. Hopefully we dont see another lockout like the 2005 NHL season.
it will happen....hey blame it on my teams owner (the vikings) just because he is like one of four owners who don't want the league to leave the shared revenue. Which if the league makes this switch watch all your favorite players leave because your teams can not afford them, unless you are a cowboys fan.
the thing with this is... If they actually did it it would last a day, worst case scenario a week. And any demands would be met. There would be far to many pissed off people in america, and money at loss, if there was no football for the season.
I personally think that the players are being selfish. I mean come on, everyone is suffering in this economy and just because your personal needs cant be met doesn't mean that you need to ruin the one thind that dominates the day of sunday. Pull your heads out of your gao dam asses, take the pay cut and fucking live with it. Budget, envest, be finicially capable of living within the top 98% of the wealthiest Americans even with the pay cut. Everyone else fucking does it so get off your dam high horse and at least attempt to live a semi-ordinary life for one year. This rant is'nt going to do shit though because theres no way in the name of god that these players will every agree to these terms. So fuck it, lets all embrace college football for a season.
I hate it when shit like this happens. I am sorry you top paid guys that you can't afford a brand new H3 or Lambo or whatever the shit you want but Jesus, you still have it way better than like 80% of the rest of the country.
