This sucks, I worked full time this summer and one of the major investments my money went to was a whole new setup. Given I ski on the east coast by minimal powder I bought an all park setup. Liberty LTE's, Griffons and Hotdoggers. And with this setup I was having without a doubt in my mind the best and most progressive year of my life.
Well then my bindings break. Those like four "beam" things that look like they're holding the heel piece, well one of them snapped. I ski with a my college's ski club which allows me to go pretty much everyday but not til around 6:30pm. Since I can't go to the shop ever considering they close at 6pm it took me close to 2 weeks to get my skis to the shop. Finally I get them there and they tell me they'll contect Marker and see what they can do.
Monday comes around and I call the shop to see what's going on and Marker wants my ski shop to send them the piece. Like seriously I have only gotten like ten days of skiing on them. So i'm pissed about that but my shop says I can demo a pair of skis until Marker responds. They give me a pair of Line Prophet Flites.... Kinda cool but I would prefer another park ski. My brother goes to the shop and pick them up for me and tells me that he saw my bindings sitting in the shop. Which this is like a week after they told me they have to tell me to ship them. Oh and the shop tells my brother that they want the demo's back tomorrow. Given my schedule I wouldn't even have a chance to ski them.
So I call the shop looking for questions and give me the response that I can have the skis until my skis are fixed which is nice, but then I find out that the person handling my situation is in stratton right now. I've never come on the newschoolers to complain about something like this before but this is just such an annoying build up of events going completely against me and it's aggravating the shit out of me.
The most annoying part is that among me and my brother we've probably spent close from $1500 to $2000 at this shop...
What do you guys think?
