As some of you may or may have not noticed... we have just launched version 1 of our iPhone app. 

This has been a long time in development, and I can't thank Adam and Ian enough for all their hard work on it. 

Notice that we took a different approach to this.   Yes, the app is a paid app, so you're going to have to shell out for it... but we kept it ad-free.   Bottom line, we had to hook up Adam as he put an unthinkable amount of work into this thing.

I'm stoked at trying this model of development out, and am really excited to see your guys opinions on it, as well as the adoption rate. 

Anyways, big shout out to Adam and Ian for all their hard work.    Couldn't have gotten here without you guys.

I'm aware of this issue, but wasn't able to figure out what the deal was. If you close down the app and start it up again, the problem goes away. If it doesn't, PM me and we'll figure it out.

Works great. I know it's new and everything but the only things Id like are my threads and regional forums. Also clickable links that open in safari. Otherwise it works great, good job guys

also i know it would take a shit ton of coding, be eventually i think having pm's and the ability to view profiles would be amazing. i would definitely pay for that update.

Every once in a while, I use my dads blackberry to go on NS and I can view profiles and send PMs. I'm surprised that they don't have it on the app.

Sweet! I'm posting with it right now. Only problem is sometimes when I back out of a thread it's just black where the thread listing should be. In future updates cults and pming would be nice. Overall it's great. Thanks for the hard work!

Sweet app, no problem with the pricing I would pay £129 for this app! Found a little bug, somtimes when I go back to the fourm from a thread everthing dissapears apart from the fourm name on the top bar. I'm using an orginal 3G if that helps, PM for more details or if you need somone to test

I found a bug:

the list does not update super often, so you can sometimes click on a thread that has already been deleted by a mod. When you do, instead of displaying a message, it quits the app. It is harmless, but I think it couldn't be too hard to fix... correct me if I'm wrong.

Im on it right now, simple and clear design and super fast ! The only problelm im facing is the app doesnt save my right password but change it to another long one which oblige me to retype it everytime I connect.

PM me because I don't quite understand the issue. iNS works by checking to see if the saved login/password matches the currently stored one. If it doesn't, it will ask you if you want to save the new information. To change your saved password, enter a new password, tap login, and it should ask if you want to save it again.

I have found just a small bug. Everyonce and a while I'll be looking in a thread then click the back button. Sometimes it takes me to a blank forum page. I click back again and it takes me to a blank main forums page. The only remedy is to restart the app. Not a big deal and other than that, everthing looks great!

^ read some of the previous postings. That happens when your iPhone runs out of RAM and tells the application it has to ditch some stuff. If your iphone is jailbroken (the only time I've seen this happen), that would be the cause.

I've actually seen this happen since I've un-jailbroken my 1G touch - it's definately a RAM issue with this generation as I've not seen it on any others I've gotten to test it on.

found a little glitch today.  when you quote someone with a donator symbol, you end up with the symbol for that post.

Yeah it happens occasionally on my 1st gen. jailbroken iPod touch. I've never really paid much attention to it because it's so quick to exit and re-enter the app.

Suggestions:
My Threads and messages.
Be able to skip to the last post in a discussion
See the stories in the homepage.

Basically the app is sick, but I hope as more people buy it and it becomes more popular more features are added.

FYI: Next version will have regionals and cult forums as well as my threads. I meant to have it in to Apple this week, but it snowed over 40" up here and I know you'd all want me to enjoy it.
