the only real problem i have for the Griffons is they are advertised to the entire freestyle market as a great binding choice for them, regardless of weight or skier ability. but the problem is they suit the needs of only probably around 40% of the skiers on here. either because they're too heavy, treat their gear shitty, or just plain ski too hard.
like i said, i have had several pairs of Jesters. loved them all. never had a problem.
but a friend of mine who i ski with reguarly has Griffons and has had nothign but problems.
Examples:
-Heal piece just randomly slides out of track.
-Broken brakes. (plastic park, not the metal arms.)
-Bending of toe piece.
-Almost slicing completely through the plastic side of the heal piece.
if i were you OP, i would just shell out a little extra dough now and get the Jesters. think about it, one pair of Jesters costs less than two or more pairs of Griffons....
