EP Pros vs Bacons

i have bacons and i love them, but ep pros are so fun and buttery. I love both skis but i would take the EP's my man

they are both really fun, i own bacons, and numerous of my friends have or have previously owned eps

it really depends on what you want!

well i already have a good park ski so i'm looking for something for powder on days we get a lot of snow or just in the backcountry and i want them to be great for some pillow lines or small cliff drops while i'm skiing the pow too

u realize they are really different skis. do some research and figure out what u want then make a thread looking for a ski with these characteristics or asking for alternatives as that ski may be hard to get. threre really is no point in looking for a ski if you dont know what your looking for.

Well the Bacons and EP pro are very diferent skis... Bacons are like 115 underfoot or somthin around there and Eps are 127, Bacons have no rocker and the EPs have alot of rocker and are alot less stiff then the bacons... EPs are more for deep untouched powder everywhere. Bacons are pretty much just meant for big backcountry booters to a powder landing not the best in pow... and bad in the park.

ep pros - quite possibly the softest ski I have ever flexed.  Felt like I was going to bend it in half
Bacons- pretty stiff compared to a lot of other skis I have flexed. 

I would say it depends on what you want them for.

i've heard that both are great for pow so i guess what really matters then is which one is better for hitting jumps, landing in pow, possibly landing switch, hitting cliff drops, and riding pillow lines?

i ride bacons, weigh 175, and im not really sure if i would want anything softer, and ive heard the eps are even softer. they would probably be fun for lots of deep pow, but i imagine you wouldn't want to go very fast on them

its like old bacs and ep's fucked and had a child that was off the fucking richter scale broski

either way your getting a ski that will be a totally different experience than anything you have ever rode on. I don't know what it is about them but Pollard knows whats up.

LL2's idono why i just wanted to jump on the rocker train for cheap. Don't get me wrong surface makes a great ski its just the bacons were so playful.

B-runge, which ones do use at brundage in areas like hidden valley and out of bounds? cause that's probably where i'll be using them the most since there's no point to use them at bogus

i use mine in the park sometimes, they are not the best. I use my old thrusters if i want to ski park all day, but when im riding my bacons and want to ski park, they are ok.

still love them though

I got use EP's few days ago in everything from foot of fresh pow,tracked pow,soft groomers,hardpack & crud. Most amazing ski ever. I own SFB's & they would not have been as good. I really dont know were the SFB's would have been better for me honestly. Thats why my SFB's are up for sale.
