Listen to conflict diamonds and tell me that the story he tells about the diamond trade isnt only amazingly accurate and in depth..but acknowledges the fact that as a rapper he feels compelled to wear these jewels even though he is deeply conflicted by how they reach his rings/necklaces...for me its all about intelligent lyrics and storytelling and package that with the ability to convey that message in a song..same reason im a huge fan of eminem..both are great storytellers (disregard some of their public songs)

You're right that a lot of diamonds do come from Canada, but there is still a large percentage of 'conflict diamonds' that are easily exported from conflict areas and mixed in with 'non-conflict' diamonds then imported to the US without raising any flags

I've been listening to a lot of this recently, if you are into oldschool jazzy simple beats, Tribe Called Quest shit, then this is for you.

Its funny because he's on a lot of Celph Titled and Apathy stuff which is usually pretty heavily produced and poppy, but his album is a lot different.
