okay here's the story:
it's the week before the high school championship football game. Walden High School is 11-0 but they're going up against Butch Henry High School. Butch Henry has won state nine years in a row. all the guys on their defensive line are at least 250 pounds. their running back is 6-5 and has given opposing defenders concussions three times in the past five games.
but everyone in Walden is so pumped. they're a small school in a small town and they've never been to state before. the star quarterback of the team is this kid named Jesse Arnold. he has looks like brad pitt and an arm like an AK 47. the girls love him. the guys wish they were him. the teachers give him A's no matter what he does. his parents can't stop gloating about him. he's the talk of the of the town.
but Arnold holds a secret. he's scared as fuck. he doesn't wanna get crushed by Butch Henry's 300 pound linebackers. he doesn't wanna blow the season. he doesn't wanna lose the respect, love and adoration of everyone in Walden.
so Arnold is your antagonist. somehow, he sabotages the game so Walden can't play. that parts up to you to decide. maybe he spikes the water so everyone on the team has food poisoning. or maybe he makes the bus break down so all the team cant get to the game. basically, he makes something bad happen so the team cant play and lose, and then he has an excuse for not winning.
the twist/mystery is that no one knows that Arnold's the one who messed up the team. everyone thinks its Bubba Montomgery, a stupid offensive linemen who gets kicked off the team the week before the game because he was dating the coach's daughter.
so when someone sabotages the Walden High team the week before the game, everyone thinks its Bubba, getting his revenge on the coach for kicking him off the team. but arnold, the antagonist, is the one who really messed everyone up, cause he's a little baby underneath his tough guy, star QB persona.
