Obama visits the GOP House Republicans

This is pretty unusual... Obama visited GOP politicians at a conference and opened the floor to ask him whatever questions they wanted. You'd think that would be a disaster waiting to happen. Dude shows up at their retreat, lets them launch talking points at him for an hour without a break, and responds to all of it without losing his cool. Well worth watching.

it was a pretty interesting watch. i thought the pres did a pretty good job of calling republicans on a lot of their BS.

only the darned liberal media. Fox started to air it and then cut the feed when they realized obama was doing quite well.

There's not much to report. He pretty much just shut every question down by saying he would love to work with them BUT his special adviser/expert in the particular field says its not a good idea and won't work, we can't do that. PR move. Obama the unifier, bring the nation together deal. I'll give it to him for doing it but its not going to do a damn thing.

Yeah I saw that. Definitely a step in the right direction. Hopefully we're moving towards at least a little more bipartisanship in Washington. Although I must say both sides were at fault early on, it's refreshing to see something like this.

just finished. i love his points about bipartisanship, the american government is not doing it's job correctly right now because neither side wants to cooperate with the other. it's simply immature and sad to watch, as i'm sure Obama and many others feel the same way.

Actually there were a few points there where he was all "My bad guys"... and all in his first year, whereas no one heard anything similar to that during the previous 8. I get the feeling that the things you think were mistakes, he doesn't think were mistakes.
