Replying to How much was your ACL surgery?

Hey so I need this for an essay. If you could just say what you know about your surgery, that would be great.
Just tell me, if you can, whether you were an outpatient vs. inpatient, hamstring graft vs. patellar tendon graft, and an estimated cost of total expenses (anesthesia, basic hospital costs, etc.)
Also, tell me if or how it was paid for:
Did you have insurance that covered it completely, or was some out-of-pocket?
Did you even elect to have the surgery, or was it to expensive?....etc.
It doesn't matter what country you're from either.
If you're not comfortable about stating costs, don't, just tell me what type of procedure it was.
And if you want, state how long your rehab took and if you're back to full strength, costs and how rehab was covered as well.

Ex: I had a patellar tendon and bone graft, a meniscectomy, and was an inpatient. Total expenses were around $14,000. Insurance covered all expenses, even physical therapy, which was four months.
