Roces ski boots

searched around on google. found a bunch of kids boots. someone said in another thread they had a booth at SIA. are they doing adult boots? i feel like we should take a few pointers from fruiters about boots. not copy them but use some of the design features. seems like fulltilt is kind of already doing it. theres like two categories now: ski boots, and things that attach your feet to skis.
i tried fulltilts, they didnt feel like ski boots at all. they were stiff rollerblades. couldnt really transfer any power and the flex wasnt smooth at all. i honestly dont get how people ski them.
anyway, news on roces boots?

You're doing it wrong.

IF they fit you and IF you have the liner baked for your feet, flexon-style boots are really superior for responsiveness. you can also change the flex with different inserts/tongues to your liking.

PS - Don't give me shit about being a full tilt fanboy, I don't even have full tilts, I have Il Moro's, which I think are a slightly better design.

ski boots are meant for skiing, not jibbing.

before there was  twin tip skis, you had to make them. try modifying your boots to flex the way you want.

i wasnt gonna give you shit at all. thanks for the info though. last time i bought boots and got fitted and what not i compared stuff to fulltlits without actually skiing them or getting baked so yea my perception of fulltilt is a little misleading i suppose. i liked the II moro's as well. seemed like the best of both worlds as far as fulltilt and say, lange.
i was just curious to see what roces had going on for ski boots

I wish my ski boots were as comfortable and responsive as my CH1's. Those things are pretty much my second feet. And I can't wait until I get USD carbons, practically nothing in between my feet and the soul/frame. Someone should look into the idea of soft ski boots.

And it seems like every time there is one of these threads, the only thing people can come up with is that rollerblade like boots would be too flexy, broken ankles, no power transfer.... stuff like that. I think we all know that, we all ski, we all wear ski boots. Someone has to hop on, or at least create something new sometime.

i feel like the main problem is finding the median of soft and supportive. skates are super soft. i barely even buckle mine but they work for skating cause you just need to keep them from falling off. your actual ankle is the only thing that really supports yourself. ski boots need a fairly good amount of support so you can drive the ski.
i have no problem with horizontal flex of ski boots, its the lateral part that needs work. flexing forward and back is not a problem i mean. side to side (left and right) is the issue. you might be more prone to rolling your ankle but thats the hard part of figuring this out i think. being able to flex your ankle left and right/side to side is what i need more of for tweaks on jumps and grip on rails.

The carbons have no liner, so I would expect them to feel pretty good. I wish I could try carbons on, there's no shops near me.

 I tried some kids large xsjados and liked them. I still can't really decide whether to get the carbons or some xsjados. I think I would get a small xsjado though. I really like the way they locked in, like they really locked in. So much to the point where I think I would prefer less lock so I can move on the rail better. But Maybe a small xsjado would change that cause the larges were really big, they hit the ground when I pushed or turned sometimes.

Take some old xjsado and see if you can't make them into a ski boot, like take the pieces of ski boot that go into the bindings, and somehow see if they go on a xsjado.
