Word. Maui is pretty dope. Lahaina is fun and i has some decent beginner size waves.(if you are learning) but there is some other pretty fun spots for surfing there.

-pearl harbor just because it's an amazing place.
-hanauma bay, kinda touristy but its amazing for snorkeling and the wildlife and sealife there is beyond anything.
-sunset beach, kinda farther away but its a world reknowned surf spot.
-just walking around honolulu is great, around the waikiki beach area.
also hit up the polynesian center

make sure to get some shave ice mangggg
i stayed in my families' place (insanely nice) in kailua on the east side of the island, right next to where obama stays!
oahu is super fun, and everything is easy to get to

I have family that lives in kailua too!
Op, if you stay by kailua, paddle out to the mokes. Hike around and you'll find some dope little pools of water than you can chill in.
Oahu has some awesome ridges and stuff to hike around and explore. Bring a camera for sure

Maunawili falls just inland from honolulu near Pali highway is a super sick hike and swim spot. Hit up all the fruit stands along the northshore too

Go swim with the sharks on the North Shore. It was by far the coolest thing i did down there.
