I see this new 'jib rocker' on all the new park skis from K2. I'm just wondering if this is just a marketing scheme with all the new rocker hype. I don't see how a flat ski with rocker is going to perform on jumps? Camber gives you a snappier ski that has a lot of pop and carves all mountain well. Anyone else have an opinion on this?
the whole jib rocker thing seems to work with their snowboards, my snowboard buddy has the k2 WWW with the "jib rocker" and he uses it as his EC park board, he says it a rail/box/butter slayer, so i guess k2 is heading in that direction with their skis
yeah, why wouldnt they give it camber under the foot and park rocker. that way you still get the liveliness and poppiness of a camber ski, but the rocker helps with butters and not getting your tips/ tails hung up.
