Yeah. Its pretty fucking retarded. I think they do it in NYC or Philly or something. Totally irrelevant to people living anywhere north of Connecticut.

Plus, Puxataney Phil has only been right like about 40% of the time. Pretty crappy Phil...pretty crappy.

it's out near pittsburgh with all them western PA folks. Do you really think something like that would go down in Philly??

He always sees his shadow, like 90% of the time at least. Who is gonna predict spring on feb. 2nd???

It is as cheesy as the movie with bill murray, I watched the ceremony this morning on tv.

Wait, so if he sees his shadow it is more winter?

That seems backwards, wouldn't seeing his shadow imply that it is sunny out and therefore more spring-like?  And no shadow would mean it is cloudy and more winter/stormy type weather?  Just seems the opposite of what it should be in my mind.

with better accuracy than Glen "Hurricane" Schwartz if you ask me. At least I know better than to trust the marmot. Also that is a pretty good sized rodent even when compared to NYC sewer rats.

yea so he got scared b/c he saw his shadow. how wouldnt he see his shadow with all of the lights and camera flashes on him, also do they use the same groundhog every year? how old do groundhogs live to be?
