where are you looking for this thread to go? I'm assuming trick help in that case searchbar there's also a trick tip forum.
but ill add my peice, for rails and boxes its best to start aimed straight at it if its a rail basically split the rail between your legs, pop on and turn 90 degrees so your sliding sideways on the rail, spot the ending and keep your balance (land with more weight on your leading foot) most of skiing is just commitment, if you fully commit at a trick and don't pussy out or half ass it you'll probably land it (at least for the basics)

yea, check out the trick tip cult...
but what i did when i first learned rails and boxes was..
1. listen to some music to get u pumped...just don't get too lost into the music and stuff...unless ur like me and actually do better when i'm not focusing on the rail or anything.
2. go slow at first.....
3. keep a wide stance and low too
4. pop a little
5. turn 90 degrees and keep ur legs shoulder width apart.
6. u will naturally want to try and stop...don't...keep more weight on ur leading foot, look a little past the end of the rail, stay low.
...try boxes first, they're easier
