I may be wrong but when I was just watching the superpipe finals it looked like the skis Dumont rode had a cap construction.

I think you're right, and they looked like this years graphic too. They handed him a pipe pro at the end of his runs.

Simon has been riding the 08s with a different top sheet graphic since they came out...just look at the bases of all his skis in all his edits/video parts - they're the black base with "SALOMON" written in white and all the bases since the 08s have been different from that. Yes, at the end of his run they handed him a 2011 Pipe Pro ski (with all his sponsors stickers very organized might I add - not a normal sticker job for sure). But, clearly Simon himself likes the 08 (the Blue ones with cap construction and wood core) more than the later versions, which leads me to ask...why the hell did they change it? If the guy who it's named after likes that version, stick with it.
