They should've put the skiers on snowmobiles for the knockout and vice versa.  Then at least it would have been somewhat interesting to watch.  Although, Simon would probably go run Rolland over with his sled.

they already took off his pro model ski for next years lineup.

I think his injury played into this, he usually does so much better in pipe. But I'm sure if he sasy that, everyone will think he's just using it as an excuse. But, that fall was gnarly.

Ok , so im pumped for Pete, he killed it. But I think if X Games is gonna hold this event, it cant be in the Halfpipe. They should build a quarter like the one dumont did his record in. Like i mean it was sick, but in a way it wasnt because it just looked awkward with them doing 1 hit and skiing down the rest of the pipe. also the 22 ft. pipe limits the height they can get. Next year build a quarter pipe specifically for the event.

I think it is silly that they get real medals for this event. These longest air/biggest air events should be more of a show with some other kind of reward. If I worked my ass off to medal in pipe or slopestyle and then saw Dorey with the same silver medal for hucking a big straight air I would be pissed. All IMO..

That's the way the way the world works my friend.... Just look at the Olympics> you only win 1 medal for a huge team sport tournament like hockey but you also win a medal for every little joke of a speedskating, swimming, track,etc. event. Unfortunately medals aren't weighted by sport.
