How Frequently Do You Get To Ski?

Title pretty much says it.

For me it's about every other week dry slope or snowdome with about 3 weeks on mountains per year, wish it was more though..

I try and get to the Snowdome every week during non-term time, otherwise whenever I can get out

Jesus, how do you guys afford it? Does the snowdome have some season pass type thing?

I'm lucky to get 2 weeks at the mountain, not much a fan of the dryslope.. I mean its ok but its a bit bland if you get me. The only real thing that spices it up is slalom training, but I've not been in over a year...

I aim to ski the Dryslope once a week for freestyle with the occasional snowdome visit throughout the year.

2 weeks on mountain a year usally a few indoor sessions a year and a few dryslope sessions

I'm aiming to get most of my mountain skiing done during summer, on european glaciers, since it is much cheaper, I'll have more time, and the parks are just as legit.

what's the deal with glaciers in europe? is it the same as going during the normal season, ie don't need to go on any camps or anything just rock up at les deux alps and ski...?

I may have misunderstood your question... but you just buy the skipass and you are free to ski the glacier as you please. Mind you... you really do need to stay on-piste on glaciers (unless with an experienced guide) due to the crevasses. The same situation is in summer I believe.

I usually get to the dryslope a few times a week, being an instructor there has it's advantages.
But maybe 2 weeks abroad and a indoor once a month if I'm lucky.

yea cool, i'd only go for the parks anyway as i can't imagine there being too much of a point to off piste without fresh snow really.... but sounds like the perfect cure to mid summer skiing.

It really is. I went to Zermatt last year, and it was amazing. It's sunny, so you can ski in a tee, they had a perfectly cut pipe, with 16' walls, 2 booter lines, and a sick rail garden. And there's very few beginners. Also the park has its own T-Bar, so you can so many hits in.

I'm probably going to do a mini tour of Euro glaciers in summer, for 4-6 weeks, because it's so cheap.
