Superpipe question

This is kinda random buuuut.....

I was just wondering how far down the skiers go in the super pipe cuz they go up about 15-20 feet. i was thinking about 40 feet but im not sure

Depends.  When simon goes as big as possible he hardly travels down the pipe at all.  But then again for the rest of his run he travels super far down, hence why he always gets less hits than everybody else.  On average though I'd say it's about the same amount of downhill travel as vertical

that would depend on the trick and the pipe and whatever angle you wanna set yourself. on a big ass 400 footer like the ones in the xgames right now you can travel 30-40 feet on a 1080 and still have room for enough hits but a smaller pipe not as much cuz you gotta remember how much pipe your taking up when you cross the flat for your next hit

well think about it. the superpipe in the x games is 567 feet. subtract the feet before they drop in and after they finnish. so about 490 and they get about 6 hits in sooo.

They also travel down hill a lot going across the transitions in between hits.
