Online Ad Space Prices?

yo I could really use some help, looking at starting a website, was curious, and hopefully from someone involved in NS how much companies pay for the ad space on this website, or could anyone tell me where one could acquire said information... thanks guys

It probably depends on a few things. What kind of people your site would appeal to and what kind of companies would like to advertise to that market.

well for one, obviously there is more to it that was just a basic example. and for two, i've never seen those ads on here all I see are skiing ads. I'm sure there are other variables that go into it, but to say that every single ad slot on every single sight costs one base price is pretty ridiculous. I'm sure they vary depending on a variety of different things.

research similar sites.  pretend you want ad space and inquire about prices.  sometimes ad prices are listed in the open.  then set your ad space rates accordingly to web traffic.
