Is 4frnt going out of business?

does anyone know more details to these rumors?

they aren't at SIA... which is a bad sign

not to mention steele is leaving/left (yes i know he is getting married so that may play a part) and one of the head investors (joe) is rumored to be leaving

sia is a multi day thing. are you actually there or are you just looking at the pictures online?

they proably just dont have pictures yet, but there have been pics of the 2011 gear.

looking online, i havent seen k2 or volkl pics from sia

I believe booths at SIA are rather expensive, and they made have made the decision to not exhibit there this year. It would make sense to save money in this type of economy, but we will have to wait and see if 4FRNT addresses this.

salomon skis suck arse and pros still ride them..... thing with pros is they dont pay and get them all replaced if they break, so they dont really care..... salomon for example is the shitest quality gear iv ever seen.... my best bro rides for soly and has gone through like 5 pairs of skis this year...

so your theory is wrong.... but i cannot comment on 4front as i have never riden em

i want to see them without the stickers... but they look sick. I have the 4frnt clicks and i loved them... but i snapped them in half. so hopefully i will get next years skis in a warranty

this thread is retarded, do some research before you assume a company went under because they didnt pay out the ass to attend SIA.

people who ride 4frnt know what their line up will consist of and thats all that matters to both 4frnt and their customers

and steele spence is no longer a rider but still works for them

It's been said many times on here. Steer clear from their park skis. They're big mountain skis are some of the best on the market.

indeed. i have little to no experience of their park skis but it seems more than enough people have reason to mistrust them. their big mtn skis on the other hand: full of win.

We are not going out of business.  We made a decision not to attend SIA this year because the majority of our dealers were not attending, but we attended the SIA on-snow demo, which is what dealers who were attending told us they wanted to see.  We are exhibiting at ISPO rin Munich right now and you should be able to check everything out online in the next few days. 

As for Steele, he is still involved in 4FRNT, represents out of Summit County, continues to contribute on the graphic side, is judging competitions and is happily engaged to Justine.  Life is good for Steele.

We do continue to have the store in Salt Lake City at our headquarters.  Stop on in and check it all out if you are in the neighborhood.
