Trouble makers vs anthems

Well the anthems are flexy, wider waisted and centre mounted. More suited to jibbing.

I have no experience with the anthem, but my main park/ all mountain ski is the trouble maker. Just to clarify, it is super stiff and has a ton of pop, whereas the anthem is soft and buttery. The TM's are absolutely bomb proof also. they have taken three seasons of abuse and have no core shots or edge cracks, and hardly any top sheet chipping. I love the TM's, and they are super stable anywhere on the mountain. hope this helps

just need a flex comparison. i know all about the constuctions and have more than ample skill, etc. just never ridden tm's so want to know how soft they are by comparison to anthems or any other ski (bc im currently riding anthems but have skied majority of the major park sticks)

Well i skied fujatives before my TM's, so thats what i can easily compare. The TM's are STIFF. fujatives are by far one of the softest park skis. you can hand flex the trouble makers a little, but they are made for hauling ass and big jumps/jibs. they are definitely not a soft ski to mess around with, which the anthems are. they are basically two completely different skis

thanks^. just so you know that post about was for the other guy not you... yours wasnt there when i started typing. the main reason im asking this is cause my brother has tm's (havent been home to play with them myself yet... other side of the country) and he said his are really soft. this struck me as weird cause he's skied my old fujatives and stls (cerca 05) which are two of the softest skis made to my knowledge. wondering why he says his are similar in stiffness to a super broken in noodle when theyre supposed to be mid stiff

I have the '10 anthems (this years) and they are by far the best skis I've ever purchased. I centered mounted them with some marker bindings. This was the first skis I've ever had center mounted and it made an unbelievable difference when riding backwards. So I would definitely recommend center mounting them.

As far as in the park, they own on rails. I am still learning a lot of new things in the park and the anthems accommodate this very well. They are very soft and buttery so on rails it just feels really easy to slide and pop onto/off of the rail. For weight, they are medium weight. Haven't really noticed that they are really light, nor very heavy. Now when it comes to jumps unfortunately, I can't give very accurate advice. I don't hit a lot of jumps because I can't really do anything on them so I don't have a lot of experience with them on jumps. To make a guess, I'd say they'd perform really well on jumps. You have a wider underfoot then the afterbang or chronic so it would be more stable on landings. Of course, it is softer then the chronic. Also, the spin weight isn't bad when spinning onto/off of rails so I can't imagine it would be that bad in the air off of jumps.

Overall, great ski. I will most likely be coming back to Line next year. Maybe purchasing the chronics to get a different taste of skis from the opposite side of the spectrum. I would definitely recommend this ski to you if this review sounds like what you will be doing on the slopes.

i had anthems last season amazing for most, but wobble and powder sucks, just got blends for pow etc, and want anthems or invaders to make it perfect. blends are what a ski needs to be, and the anthem is what a park ski needs to be, could be longer though
