Sticky space button

I got some monster spil on my mac and the space button is the only thing that is hard to press down. Is there any way to get it less sticky. I put a fan on it but it didnt help out to much.Any suggestions?

If it's just a keyboard and not a laptop, you can put it in the dishwasher. Just let it dry out before you use it again.

you sire, are speaking untruthfulness into the thread.


By popping the key out you are not breaking it.
If you note that the normal keys ( any key but the spacebar) are made to pop out. You can click them in.
the spacebar is made the same way but there is also a metal bar on both sides that hold it in. on most standard model keyboards.

The only way you will break your keys is if you destroy the soft pad under the actual square covering that you are popping out.

i remember my first "sticky space bar" i think i was like 12...

just go to a pawn shop and get a new one for like five bucks
