Kinda early stages. Im guessing i should contact the place i got it from for warrenty...its getting close to a year

Yes, that is an actual delam, and yes, you should contact the location where you got it from to them warranted. But thanks for showing people what an actual delam is, cause I've seen to many threads the say "09 Chronics Major Delam" and they just have top sheet chipping.

if the warranty is a no-go than i would suggest trying rivets. i got em in my chron's and they hold up very well

these skis are ones i got from a warranty issue on 07/08 chronics. does that matter...or will i still be able use the warranty? PS i ordered them online

you should still be able to warranty as long as you bring them to your shop before the year, and if they are real dicks at your shop then bring the receipt if you still have it.  

But if you cant get them warrantied then let your ski dry out for a day or so, throw some marine grade epoxy in there and rivet them and that should hold up for the rest of the year or longer depending on the type of skiing you do.

bump

ok so i talked to line and the shop. they said it looks like a delam but they cant guarentee anything. before i take off the bindings, i just want to see other peoples opinions. do you think they will waranty these?

if they dont waranty these, can i just screw the binding back into the holes (the holes left when i unscrewed the bindings to send them in)/ or do i have to take them to a shop for mounting or a binding check?

ha fail on spelling. warranty.

yea thats what im thinkin. i just would hate to take off the bindings, pay for shipping across the country, and them not get warrantied for some reason, then have to possibly remount

yea. mine probably have around 17 days of night skiing on them. it sucks to have to send them back and not have anything to ride

bump for the last time. if they say no to the warranty, do i have to goto a shop to get the bindings remounted or can i screw them in?

i have 08 chronics too. they had a similar problem and line warrantied them. i say send the skis back...why not?
