a bump is usually because a screw went to far through when mounting, take it to a shop

nah they have been mounted for a while this just happened recently i took it to get waxed at this dingy shop and i think they left the iron laying on my ski or somethign like that but its not from the mounting because they were moutned before this happened and its not under any screws its right in the dead center of the ski under my foot

yeah, depending on where it is it's either a screw screwed in too far, or an edge dent that pushes it in. There's really nothing you personally can do (I'm assuming your not a shop tech since your asking), but DON'T sand the base, you will end up very unhappy. Take it to the shop you got it mounted at and show the shop tech (not the guy behind the counter - unless he is the tech - ask to talk directly to the actual tech - they'll either fix it, or (if it's their fault) they should compensate you in some way (I'm not saying new skis, although they might, but don't go in there demanding new skis, cause that most likely wont work).

they were mounted about 6 weeks before this bump came and the edges are in good condition

It can take some time for them to show up, sometimes they're so small they're unnoticeable, then the skis get cooled by the snow, then warmed, then cooled, then warmed, then the wax probably warmed them even more until they finally showed. I'd say just take them back the shop and see what they'll do for you.

They might go away depending on the screws and the bindings, a hot waxing might help, but they might also go away on their own, but they might not.
