yea i think it was jossi or someone who did sw 630 to 450 out, not sure if he landed it though. also i think jf even nose buttered into a 630 on one of his runs

Top 2 rail hits were pathetic, I could do that, and I'm not even that good at rails. Rest of the run was damn smooth though, besides the little bobble on the landing of that last hit.

Only guy who got seriously robbed was Jacob Wester. I do not understand how that was a 10th place run. It was top 6. Aside from that the judging was pretty solid, most everything was a matter of opinion. Andreas' run was not up to B Brown's standards except for the first couple of rails (you could tell when he got the score he was surprised), so that either means the judges weren't paying enough attention or the rails are playing a bigger role this year, which is fine.

yea maybe they heard newschoolers two years ago or something but they are for sure putting even weight now on the rails and jumps thats why elias and jacob didnt do well. im stoked on the new judging

Jacob was great on the rail portion. Did something different with the hitching post too. It was a very very good run top to bottom, not going to win him a gold medal or anything, but I would have given it 87. Def not 78 or whatever he got.

He basically skipped the hitching post. I mean, he slid it, but everyone else was going pretty huge on it. You could tell that was their rationale because they conveniently showed that for the replay right before they gave him a low score. They did it with someone else too, I can't remember who, but they showed a replay twice of him just barely missing the grab and I knew they were going to rob him, and then they did. I agree the rest of Jacobs run was sick though, he should have scored higher. But I felt like he did totally cop out on the hitching post.

Bdog's run was soooo steezy.  Props to him for making it the finals with no dubs.  Top three in no order is Wallisch, Andreas, and Bobby.  Although I'd like to see walker and Bdog in there.

Overall, some really high level skiing. It was skiing like the finals of past years, but it was only prelims.

Can't wait to see what goes down in finals. I'd expect things to step it up a notch further in intensity for sure.

I agree from the most part with the judging decisions.

Personal favorite runs were Carlson's due to his slaying of the high rainbow. Definitely took a huge sack to 450 on and off that thing, especially in a high level comp where there is next to no room for error.

haha nice little remixes. They really need to replace Mike Douglas with Luke Van. I love the guy but he is not calling the tricks very well.
