Whitetail park, sketch central

From DC, skied Whitetail last night.  That mountain had the worst designed jumps and sketchiest landings I could ever imagine.  And the half pipe looked like more of a box girder than a pipe.  I really want to think that it was just a bad night, and it sucked because of the recent conditions.  Has anyone skied there and been impressed with the park? Rails and other features were pretty decent.

I was there last night and it was the first time i snowboarded in 2 years. but thats beside the point. 9 times out of ten whitetails park is trash. ride at liberty, they have a much better park layout and they actually know their shit

Over the past couple of years, Whitetail hasn't been the best out of the Snow Time Resorts.  Liberty has stepped up this year to the plate along with Roundtop as well.  Working at Roundtop and Eres and Coop over at Liberty pushes us both to make great parks for what we are able to work with.

Ya, we did Liberty last week and I was pretty impressed with what they had...especially given what they had to work with. Props to the guys working that park, it's really clean, plus they all seemed like nice dudes.   I will definitely be going back to Liberty...would like to check out Roundtop, but not sure it's worth the extra hour of driving each way.

roundtops jumps are horrible, nothing compared to liberty (before the rain). roundtop has some really fun box/rail setups though. liberty is my home mountain.

jumps - liberty for sure

rails/boxes/jibs - liberty for more advanced, roundtop for more chill

groomers - whitetail

I work at Liberty and will openly say Roundtop has quality rails and boxes compared to us, and given the slope they have the jump that was there before the rain was bomb! As far as Liberty thanks for the compliments and I am trying to get more features made. I would like to see the three resorts come together in the terrain parks, that could only improve everyones situation.

Whitetail hasn't had a quality park for years. The best time to go there is when there is fresh snow because they have the best runs of the three.. Roundtop and Liberty's parks are super fun. Is Adam still working part time at lib or is he done?

Adam is still running the park at lib but has cut back to 3 days a week.

that first jump in the big line at liberty was super sick! are you the guy who built them or the guy who was doin the switch 7's on it? whitetails park has been horrible for awhile now. if you go to both, you'll notice alot of way better riders at liberty. plus the skier crew at liberty is super chill

I have taken the park manager position, Adam is going to be there to give me a hand on the weekends, he wanted to focus more on school and I don't blame him, doing both is killer! (I'm experiencing it now) But to answer an above question yes I was doing the 7's on that first jump like three weeks ago along with Justin Cooper, (the_unknown) the man in the machine who makes it all happen.
