Why doesn't gatorade have an energy drink?

I think they are making so much money of the regular Gatorade, the Gatorade Water, the Gatorade lite (can't remember the name), Propel and all the other things they do that if they made an energy drink they would probably make some money but look at how many energy drinks get started and don't last. Gatorade has enough going already that they probably don't care.

gatorade has the whole sports hydration scene on lockdown, so why would they wanna turn into hypocrites and start selling a product thats absolutely horrible for you?

when you say energy drink do you mean rockstar or something more enviga-ish?

if you ran a few miles, and water was nowhere in sight, but there was a red bull and a gatorade in front of you. which one would you choose?

the point is i'm not saying its healthy, but it's a better alternative than some of the energy drinks on the market.

Gatorade is nothing but water and high fructose corn syrup. If you had the choice between Gatorade and a twinky for food, which one would you take?

actually its a 6% solution of fructose-glucose that maximizes your body's ability to absorb and use those sugars immediately. High fructose itself can cause cramping and intestinal distress during exercise when not absorbed quickly (which is why they don't use real fruit juice).

They site some scientific articles there so you can quit acting like a tough guy on the internet now.



That being said I don't even drink gatorade, i prefer water which I find much more refreshing.

gatorade is owned by pepsi which also owns amp energy drinks

and enegy drinks are stupid and a waste of money and everyone likes regular gatorade better anyways

i believe the only real problem with gatorade is that it actually ends up dehydrating you if you drink it in its original concentration. halving it with water actually makes it very good for exercise. thats completely hearsay on my part though i'm no nutritionist.

Pepsi owns gatorade and Pepsi also owns amp...so Pepsi pretty much has the energy drink game and hydration scene on lockdown.

they probably don't see a point in making a "gatorade" energy drink because they already have an energy drink line. amp mixed berry is definitely my favorite energy drink too
