Ski Patrol

Anybody elses parents ski patrol and get to ski free at their home resort? pretty much the only thing that keeps me skiing in the winters. Havent paid for a ticket or pass unless it was a trip to utah or idaho

99 bucks for an honor roll pass at my home mountain. its on the smaller side but i deal with it, decent park and stuff, and NEVER any lift lines.

My friends' dad's friend is on ski patrol and he got a free gold pass. Fucking lucky.

be thankful you guys live in the states, im heading to colorado in 2 weeks and got a pass to breck, keystone and a-basin for 400... over here in Aus where the mountains are half as steep and get hhalf as much snow i have to fork out over 1000 for a season pass at one resort. Good thing i am moving to NZ to work again this year.

Oh also, Saddleback Maine put on a promotion where if you got honor roll you got a 69 dolla pass.

My pass is 308, but I get huge discounts and shit.
My friends dad might ski patrol, if he does he gets unlimited free passes for anyone he wants to come ski. It's pretty epic.

I don't pay for my pass this season to, but me its because i was doing some publicitie for my local resort. My car was full of pig whit the name of my local mountain (Mont St- Bruno) all over my car. My friend called my car '' Pig mobile ''

I paid about 7 this year for passes.

next year, unless I figure something out it's gonna be a grand or more.

If you can figure out any way to get free passes, more power to you. Milk it while you can for sure

Yeah same, my Mom, Dad, Bro, and now my other bro is training this year. They all get 3 tickets for every day they work so we got a fat stack of vouchers at the end of the season. My parents would never pay for a season pass so this keeps me skiing. And we can go to hella resorts too! its awesome. My dad got an unlimited pass to our resort because hes worked for so long

I have to sey i have a good deal:

I work as an instructor with teens and get paid something like 3000 $ a season for something like a week of work all in all, this I use to pay for all my skiing the rest of the time including gear and stuff, so there is still something left.

what kinda janky-ass volunteer patrol would have you on their team? judging from your pics youre like 13...how the hell could someone your size possibly run a toboggan? they weigh like 60+ pounds totally empty and without the horns on, so theyre heavy as shit when theyre loaded with gear and a fat person

my friends parents work ski patrol and on occasion i get a pass.
definitely thinking about applying for patrol next year. the passes and discounts and skiing are so much sweeter than any other perk at any other job IMO. ha

im 16 and i wear normal sized clothes if thats what made you think i was 13.  sleds have chains that drop down in the front to create more drag = slowing the sled down.  to pass the tobaggan test at my hill you had to ski someone down the steepest slope on the mountain WITHOUT the chain. 

and pulling a sled isnt the only thing ski patrol does, there's medical shit to it too.  way to look like an ignorant dumbass
