Would FKX be too burly for me?

I am 5'9", 170 lbs give or take. Ride the park pretty hard and i have my griffons at 9 right now. do you think a 8-18 din would be too high? would i actually have to run a lower din with the fkx? dont worry, im not going to make anyone liable, i just want opinions cause i dont know that much about these bindings.

im 5' 8" and 145 lbs. i have fks 180s set at 10 and they release when they r suposed to i love them

you arn't a big dude, if you wanted to save some money you could just get the FKS 140 those would be plenty. I am 6'2" 170lbs and have some older rossi pivots, they are only a twelve din and I have no worries with them. They work really well. If money is no issue rock the FKS 180 you will just run them really low.

thankss. but i managed to find a sick deal for the FKX. they were cheaper than the 140s. and that was the problem. lol cause i would def go for a 140.

news flash, knee surgery is more expensive than bindings. you are just barely above the minimum on the fkx, and you really shouldnt run a binding that low in the din range.

get a 6-14 or 15 din binding. youll do just fine.

i don't know what these bindings are, but they sound Xtreme!

you definitely don't need the 18dins. just get the 12s you'll be fine

They would work, but I would definitely recommended a 12 or 14 DINed binder instead.

yes. you should never run a binding that low in the din range. you need a 14 max. saving the 50 bucks or however much is not worth risking a possible injury.

Yes but take into account the loss of a season due to surgery, maybe out of work for a few weeks, and possible long term trauma. I'd spend $100+ more for bindings on that reason alone
