Any rollerbladers remember like 2000, when skates started coming with a double tongue, so you could tuck your pants behind the outer tongue? USD sold extra tongues seperately.

You can hate if you want, but it's just another example of rollerblading trends crossing over to skiing.

what? the tongue on that ski boot is purely to look cool. it's just on top of the cable keepers like on the hot doggers this year. with snowboard boots the laces are too keep the boots tight

since rollerblading got the idea from shoes with tongues and shoes with tongues are still popular today, I'd say Full Tilt is just reflecting the off-the-slope style on the slopes, not copying rollerblading.
