Replying to Awesome Summer Experiences??

Well I just put my application to Windells in the mail.  I would love to work there over the summer and that is plan number one, but I want some back-up plans!  Has anyone done anything really cool that I could consider?  I would like to get out of state (Colorado) and I would like to be gone the whole summer, and it would be great if i could make at least a little money. 

Also, if anyone has connections at Windells and could hook me up :D... but anyway. +Karma what are some awesome summer experiences?!
