Line Afterbangs

I am looking at getting a pair of afterbangs. I have heard good and bad things about these. I have heard that they are supper poppy and fun on rails. But, i am wondering how they do on jumps.

They are really fun off of Jumps - I was hitting a 50 footer a few weeks ago and didn't notice and wobble, wash, or anything, very solid.

What? I have never heard that, but landing switch on them is soo nice in my opinion, i had the invaiders before, and landing switch on these is much better !

that would only be due to landing leaning very far forward. if you can land upright and center then you wont notice.

Afterbangs are a solid park ski i know tons of people with them and they all say good things about them.

I also love mine.  Very solid and fun park ski.  I had trouble landing switch the first couple days, but it just takes a little bit of getting used to.  I would recommend them for a mostly rail skier who does smaller jumps.

yeah, but i didn't had a problem landing sw belive it or not, but it's a soft ski of course, but not soft enough to not making it landing sw. They're awesome! Recomended for everyone that ski park and urban. Tryied it on a 15m jump last weekend and the pop just throwed be backwords, landed at my shoulder. So smaller jumps is a must i think.

I heard landing switch on them was different at first, not hard. Shouldnt be a problem for you.

just wondering im about 5'7 5'8 130 pounds, do alot of jibbing but starting to hit bigger jumps, would u think 166 or 177? im on 174s now and find them a little long for my liking

Im 180cm think it's 5,9" or so, I have the 166 think that fits me perfect, so smooth for rails and fast spins!

after 2 months of use every thing got fucked up they are heavy tail snapped off edge shots every wear bucnch of side wall wood missing and deep core shots and i didnt urban at all nor turf jib with them they brake easy and when water gets in the holes your bindings become loose and break off as well not enoughbang for your buck but gillin on rails

agreed, I have NO clue what he's talking about.

But, think about it, it's a PARK ski...I've never gone an entire season on 1 park ski, I've always needed two (last season I had 3). In fact, this ski is the most durable ski I've been on, normally by now I'm already thinking about my next ski, and right now my Afterbangs are still in pretty decent condition and will probably last me another month or so, maybe even more. It all depends on how you ski, I've seen people with afterbangs and they look brand new, but they got them at the same time as me and mine are beat. They'll last you all year if your a weekend warrior or if you don't beat them up, but if you ski almost everyday or you are known for destroying your park then you'll probably end up getting a second pair in February. But hey, they're only like $300 and come February all the price drops will make them even cheaper.
