Need new boots what should i get??

i like to do about 60% park and 40% backcountry and pow skiing. What would be the best types of boots for this type of skiing. I would like to keep the price under 550. i have 5'11" and weigh 140 and a advanced skiier.

i know about the big thread at the top but i just dont know what to pick out i am looking at the salomon spk kaos but dont know if they are right and was wondering what you people think about what i should get. my nordica ingitions are rapin my shins

I would go into your local shop, and talk to the boot fitter there. Even more important than finding a boot that fits your skiing type, is a boot that fits your foot right, and only the boot fitter can figure that out.

Oh Yeah forgot...FULL TILT!!!

go to a boot fitter, try on boots, get the ones that fit
get the ones that fit, the internet cant tell you which boots fit your foot

well you guys are smart. i didnt think of that.  i was lookin for some ideas to bring into my local shop tommorow and ask the boot fitter about.

go to a bootfitter. you will be no me gusta if you end up with a boot that isnt right for your or doesnt fit your foot correctly. a bootfitter will be very knowledgeable and get you into what you need

the bootfitter will know what you need. tell him how you ski and your current problem and he should be able to steer you in the right direction.

I'm just saying but the Salomon shogun boot is meant for what kind of skiing you like to do. it might not fit and all so I would still go see a bootfitter.

FUll Tilts... go with the Konflict and get another pair of softer flex tongues for when u ride in the park
