ok you got me
otsego actually sucks. its busy, all the jumps are 5 ft long, the rails don't exist, and the pipe is closed to the public. oh and all the employees there suck.

well i took your advise and watched your video of O-park..and the boxes look to be 10-15 ft long besides the trap and yes that jump you did a 5 on looks 5 feet long. Pipe looks nice though

thank you. i love it it when i was there a few weeks ago. EXCEPT, there was not a single jump built yet, but they were working on them and making the snow

I don't think anyone is doubting that you like the Otsego Park, but the question is have you been to any other resort that has a reputable park? I'm sure someone can point you in the direction of a park in the LP that you could at least try, so as to get a baseline for comparison. I personally can't recommend one because it has been a long time since i've been to Michigan, but i'm sure someone can.

you do know how to measure the size of the jump right? from lip to lip (lip of the jump to knuckle of the landing)...

are you talking to me? clearly they aren't 5 feet, or 4 feet, or 1 foot.

and yeah, like FP man said, can someone point me towards a better park in the LP of mi so i can get myself a "baseline" for comparison

you could always drive a few hours south to either mad river or perfect north and have a good park to compare ostego too. most of the people in this thread will be comparing those 2 parks to ostego anyways
