Did you use magic bullet for some of your color correction? I really liked the reel, maybe the last snowboard shot chop timelapse only needed to be shown once, especially after the slow and chill vibe of the whole edit

Definitely a real solid reel and there were some really dope shots in there. I especially liked the opening sequence with the swing set. Great colors, movement, and composition. Really well put together. However, for the sake of critiquing, I'll provide some criticism.

first off, I could tell in some shots that you were shooting auto, and it was kind of displeasing to the eye to see the whites surge when you rolled over a lip doing a follow cam.

focus. Maybe it was the exporting, but it seemed like some of the shots were a little out of focus. Nothing major but they weren't quite as crisp as the others. There was also a shot or two where it seemed as though you were shooting auto focus and it kind of lost where it was focusing for a second.

follow cams. this is just my viewpoint, but i feel as though unless they're absolutely incredible and you consider them to be one of your strongest aspects of shooting, then they should be left out.

dirty lenses. they suck. Even if the shot and trick are bangers, I think a shot with a dirty/wet lens shouldn't really find its place in a reel. Not really the most professional thing if that's what you're going for.

from an editing stand point I think a couple of the shots could have been cut earlier just so as to not show a shake of the camera. I can't seem to hold a camera steady myself most of the time, but i try to do my best in post to hide that fact.

Less is more with a reel. A reel is an advertisement of your talents, and you only want to display the best of the best. Think twice, at least, about every shot and whether or not it really has a place in your reel.

Please no that I mean no hate at all, nor any disrespect. I think the reel was put together really well and I enjoyed watching it. For your next one just think about cutting back a bit on the amount of shots you put it, and make every one count.

This is the first person on here that i've encountered that actually has something very intelligent to say. You almost sound as professional as my AP Photo teacher haha.
I do agree with most if not all of what you said...after posting this i though about all those shots and how the lense was dirty the not great follow cams and the shots that could of been cut shorter. This is why i wanted to post one reel now and one towards summer therefore learning from my mistakes form this one and improving hopefully haha.

Clearly you have been looking in the wrong spots for good advice, haha.
Good shit, looks really good. However think he said, it should be your best stuff. Make it shorter. The beginning was sick. With all of the skiing shots I felt that had too much impact. My problem I have with lots of skiing shots, reason being is the shot its self. With the into, you know composition, and DoF. it will be hard (I think) but try to get some amazing ski shots. I don't like it would people will show these shots with a sick trick but the camera sucks, not saying yours sucks, but try to take it one step further.
