Anyone here strictly just drink?

Ever since sometime in november I just decided that smoking wasn't even worth it because if I ever got caught again my life would be over. I've never been caught drinking but I just know that unfortunately they would be more tolerant of drinking. So ever since then I've been drinking....a lot. But lately I've been wanting to smoke so bad and it sucks. Oh well.. midterms this week then Wednesday and Thursday I can drown myself in alcohol.

More of a breif rant then anything but I figured I could spark some opinions.

I dont smoke, and compared to most people in my school I hardly drink as well.. only with mountain friends.

i really dont enjoy smoking that much. maybe it's because i've only done it a handful of times and never really had a chance to enjoy it, but i would much rather drink. So i just drink...

I don't smoke anymore, used to a lot but I got over it really and frankly id rather save my money for other things than spend it on weed. I have nothing against smoking though, a lot of my friends do and i just don't its NBD.

Pretty much. I smoke maybe a couple of times a year. I know the feeling you're talking about though, wanting to get high really bad. It just makes me feel lazy. The only time I really even consider smoking is when i KNOW i wont be doing anything else anyway because once i get high that is pretty much the end of the night for me haha.

i do now after one friend went to rehab, one friend got busted, and another few friends turned into  complete fucks over it. I kinda like being back to drinking again cause its more fun now

i smoke pretty much everyday.. im a senior in HS and drink occasionally.. like once a month.

yea i feel like im sorta getting burned out from smoking.. like doing it so much doesnt even do anything almost i dunno... but its still the shit

Yep, I only drink. Never smoked. Not hating on anyone that smokes, it's just not my thing. I'm stoked on it, big fan of beer.

nope. i drink and smoke. i drink more often than i smoke though (a lot more often), although i wish it was the other way around. i hate hangovers, and getting so fucked i don't even understand what i'm saying or doing.

I drink a lot too, i smoke once every couple months, i just feel its not worth it, and if your caught people look down upon you a lot more than someone would for drinking. And getting real drunk has been just as fun for me as getting high so its no big deal that i dont smoke

smoking just makes me really nervous and introverted. its kinda lame. it just sends me through the floor. I enjoy smoking by myself more than with other people... basically i dont smoke anymore. I used to all the time. it just got old and sucked. drinking is cool tho.

I only drink. I don't smoke anymore because my girlfriend HATES it and I pole vault in college, which means we can get randomly tested by the NCAA. The only times when I wish I could is when I'm painting or drawing.

all studies are biased in some way or the other nowadays but recent studies have shown that a night out partying is more hazardous for your body than smoking weed for a whole night.

I drink and smoke everyday, mostly because I like beer with my lunch and some beer or wine with Dinner.. and then the occasional whiskey. and then in the weekends I drink alot.

haha, i'm in the exact same situation; currently i have some of the shittiest and possibly hardest exams to pass in my whole carreer; they're also over on thursday! :)
friday i depart for france to shralp some gnar and i'm planning on not being sober after 19h :) any day every day !

no dope for me either...

i smoke daily. drink like once or twice a week. i haven't been able to smoke because of a medical exam soon, and in a year i'll be done completely because of random drug testing. damn government jobs haha.

I try and just strictly drink. I've smoked before before but I have Asthma/Allergies and the smoke fucks with it, so I try to avoid it.

dude i feel you on this one.  i cant smoke because of my job right now, so i just drink a lot.  lately i've wanted to get high, but i just smoke a sig and i'm over it.  i do know one thing though, everclear and skiing dont mix, i woke up with no pants on in my friends house and the last thing i remembered was talking to some chicks before going to the parking lot to get some more drank...bad shit man

smoking and drinking are on two different levels.
i smoke because i like to stay high, err'day. why not, it makes life tighter
i drink because i like to get all fucked up, slay broads, and get rowdy a few nights
then smoking is there the next day to greet me when im hungover as shit

Very possible, i know plenty of kids who are broke as fuck but still spend every dollar they get basically on weed. If you can't sleep because you didn't smoke a bowl before you went to bed, you're addicted. And it's not bad, because since weed is only psychologically addictive, not physically addictive, its pretty easy to become not dependent on weed.

im practically the opposite of you.

i much rather prefer smoking over drinking, i still drink and enjoy it when i do dont get me wrong but i dont like doing it more than like once a month. unlike smoking which is a couple times a week thing for me.

its harder to get caught smoking imo and i also am a strong believer that marijuana doesn't have any serious health detriments and alcohol does, plus hangovers blowwwww
