Side Jumpers Getting Ridiculous at SR

If anyone has been in the jib park at sr, you know that its getting fucking ridic. 95% of people in there are 40 year old guys with their drunk friends. and if you think im just bitching. last week, goin up to hit an up rail at decent speed, i get cut off right before i pop, i try to stop, fall forward, and break my right arm. he didnt even help me get down to the lodge. god damn

yeah. i fucking hate that. its a pretty big problem at PC. some just cross the landings right as you're in mid-air and it scares the fuck outta then you mess up.

I saw the most retarded thing ever a few weeks ago. So this mom decides it would be a good idea to teach her 3 yr old how to ski in the park. Okay so its obv a bad idea to begin with, plenty of better runs to take your kid on. But its okay, I assumed this mother had brain and would just take her on the sides and out of the way.

Instead this "genius" decided it would be a good idea to take her child to the knuckle of the the big hit and have her ski down the steep landing. Okay this is a very stupid idea to begin with, but it could be okay if they had quickly skied down and made sure no one was dropping in. But no instead they stand literally 45 seconds on top of the knuckle right in front of the lip so there blind from the top just waiting for god knows what. Luckily no one dropped in for the big hit and luckily had hit the smaller one on the right.

But honestly that mother should never be allowed kids. I really do not understand how stupid some people can be. Not only you put your own life in danger, but your child's as well.

It's sad because it's just common courtesy - I'm 30+ and it pisses me off when people start complaining about young people and their attitudes etc on the hill when they bark at gapers. Ok, so some young dudes can be rude and obnoxious and that's ok, they get theirs, but hitting the side of a jump or cutting across landings / inruns etc is just plain stupid, not to mention dangerous. Some people take polite advice well, others need a bit more encouragement..

FUCK IM FUCKING TIRED OF THIS BULLSHIT.

I was there last week and I literally counted 50+ little kids who hit every side jump in the jib park. There were about 20 people actually hitting the features. I'm sick and tired of it and frankly I will go and bitch to Sunday River about how dangerous it is if they don't establish an end to this bullshit.

There is this dumb bitch ski instructor who always takes her group of twenty 4-6 year olds through the park. Once there done, the lips don't even exist. It is the most annoying thing in the world.

well. if they're legit somewhat drunk, i'd actually crash into them. piss them off, and then as they yell at me, yell back, and instigate them to throw a punch. then you call ski patrol, and the cops, and they get caught with an assault charge, and they will get in major shit for skiing under the influence.

am i the only one who doesnt get pissed off at side jumpers? who cares how they do it, theyre having fun and lets be honest, going off the side of a jump isnt too detrimental to anyone else's day. i can count on one hand the number of times ive had to abort on the inrun to a jump because of someone cutting me off. i get way more annoyed by the douchy kids who use it as an excuse to not hit the jump and freak out to show how core they are..

BUT the thing that i cant stand, and is actually dangerous, is people standing/sitting in landings. i cant count the number of times ive had to land then immediately evade someone sitting there, completely invisible from the inrun

well at loon not only do we have tons of idiots like that...and drunk people who ski through the park and hit hit people becuase "the park is for bombing and going fast". but we also have instructors who ski behind the lips of jumps like on the knuckle while your hitting it and almost kill you then tell you its your fault.
