At my high school to graduate we have to complete a two week senior project and document the whole thing and present it. My friend and I want to build something cool, but we also have to be like learning and shit so...
We need some ideas or else we goin to habitat for humanity
my friend and I are both interested in engineering so we were trying to find something that we both get a lot out of, but the giving stuff is always good too. I was thinking of trying to make and itunes app but since i have weak programming skills it probably wouldnt work.
Do something with programming. I'm in Engineering right now and I'll guarantee that programming skills are the #1 asset you can have if you're looking for a summer job/internship. The kids with even a small amount of programming background coming into first year get all of the awesome opportunities.
STEP 1: buy a filthy but beat up 65 mustang fastback
STEP 2: fix that shit
STEP 3: claim it taught you about automotive engineering and provided valuable career experience
STEP 4: pull bitches all summer in your badass mustang
i had to do the same thing, just not over a 2 week period. i took my previously overweight friend with me to the gym all summer, he lost 40 pounds, gained confidence, got a lovely girlfriend; that was my project.
