Has anyone actually skied without tongues on there full tilts? I was messing around doing tip stands on my carpet without tongues and it was super comfortable. I still buckled the cables and put the power strap on. It was really flexy and forgiving like a snowboard boot. Going skiing 4 days in a row next week and thinking about doing this if my shin bang gets pretty bad.
there is no flex lockout in the shell itself. the only thing that keeps the boot from overflexing is the tongue. so if you land switch hard, you will get fucked.
I think that if riding in boots with no tongues was a good thing that would work there would be some super flexy tongueless boots on the market already
