Replying to Leg hair and ski boots

dunno if anybody has had this problem but i am seriously considering shaving my legs where they go into my boots.  I basically have the hariest legs of anybody i know its like pubes all down to my feet and i looked into my ski boots the other day and there is a bunch of hair sticking to the liner where my shins contact.  i looked on my shins and there is a strip of hair missing perfectly alligned with the hair in my boot.  i can feel it pulling out as i ski and its a little painful.  anybody think shaving will work?
