Woodward at Copper only skis 2 hours 45 min...

whats up with that?! For all the money you pay to go there you only get 2 hours and 45 minutes on snow.  Then they open the barn up for 5 hours which is sick but it doesnt make up for the lost time on the snow

that why its a lot cheaper - unfortunately they don;t have a massive glacier- now why dont you stop being such a d-bag to an awesome and respectable place and go fuck yourself

its all they have to work with in the summer. they don't have a massive glacier like windells does. you are going there to use an excellent tramp and foam pit facility. i think its dope you get snow time at all

almost 3 hours is all you want on that thing anyway. the way the camp is set up (i feel at least) makes it better. it forces you to progress because of time. you have to do it.

Yes. This past summer we had two park runs with everything from 30 foot kickers (See my profile picture), to boxes, rails, picnic tables, and even an airbag you can land on and ride away from.


It's 1 hour and 45 minutes, and that's because that's what we deemed it was worth. There is no other indoor training facility like Woodward in the entire world. If you want to go huck a misty off of a real jump your first time, then go for it. No one is forcing you to come and learn tricks safely with highly trained staff.

If you like watching your coach film for his video part and watching pros do tricks that you'll never learn without the proper coaching and facility...go to hood for sure.  Also, why do you want to go to a camp that ends its ski time at 3 and then just sit around or play games all night...I'd rather be trying to dial tricks on tramps and foam pit jumps until 8:30 at night!

it really isnt that much cheaper... a session with good snow and not too hot at windells... 1700-1900 dollars. a six day over night session at woodward where you only spend two and a half hours on snow.... 1700 dollars... windells = better bet.

ill post in this again i suppose. the staff there is so mean. the people at the front desk are assholes. customer service is terrible with them, they take your money and dont appreciate it at all. i really got the impression the one lady did not want to me ski there. wtf? it just pissed me off the way they treat people.

coaches and the on floor staff is legit though. theyre good people. got some cuties working there too.

You're new here, so you don't really know how it works. Paul is more legit than you, and apparently knows a whole hell of a lot more as well.

Being a camper at Hood is the illest experience I could ever think of. The facility is amazing, the food is surprisingly good, and the coaches are VERY involved if you want them to be (or not involved if you don't want them to be.) Part of getting the kids stoked on learning new tricks is the fact that they can talk to these role models, and they can watch them session. They are learning 3s and 5s while the pros are learning new doubles, and everyone is stoked that people are learning whatever it is they are working on. It would be pretty lame if you went to camp and all of your ski idols just followed you around and filmed you all day.

not to mention, paul was at windells for 2 or 3 days last summer and just as a photographer stoked the shit out of those kids. I seen it.
