These 3 boots were added to the line-up to offer more fit options to consumers than simply having the narrower fit of the 98/99mm Original shell design, which still lives on in next year’s Seth Pro Model, Konflict, Hot Dogger, First Chair, Classic, and Soul Sister (no more Sally). Full Tilt wanted to bring to the market a wider lasted boot that still flexes, skis, and feels like the Original design.
All of the boots will feature a new Intuition liner that will be body heat activated for easier customization. However, a shop will still be able to mold them for you to ensure a proper fit.
The new shell is still super light, simple, and to the
point. Still the same 18 degree forward
lean angle (but not adjustable) and comparable weight (Original = 1,846 grams,
Influence = 1,891 grams). The tongues
are interchangeable within the models, except you can’t swap Original tongues
for Influence and vice-versa. [if !supportEmptyParas]There are
7 ribs on the Original tongues, and 4 ribs on the Influence (flex #6 and #4
only).
Obviously there are differences, but Full Tilt wanted to create a new boot, yet not deviate too far from the Original purpose and design. What do you think?
